The patent covers an online database technology that enables sellers who list products for sale at an e-commerce site, or property owners who list property for sale or rent at a major real estate site, to make changes to or to update their listings, and get an e-mail confirmation back that the change was made.

Potential licensees include businesses whose websites need to hold large amounts of data and need a system to distribute that data upon demand via e-mail.
